Description
Exi, the service company of the Ericsson group, announced the start of a voluntary dismissal procedure for 150 workers. There are fears that after the loss of a maxi tender with Vodafone the dismissal procedure might be transformed from voluntary to non-voluntary and that workers will be asked to transfer to the companies that have won the tender.
The trade unions oppose the proposed plan and ask for the re-integration of the workforce within the mother company. They also asked the company to negotiate in good faith on the proposed redundancies and required the involvement of local institutions.
