Description
Pharmaceutical company Lek from Ljubljana, a subsidiary of the Swiss-based Sandoz, is going to hire about 140 workers in the context of the restructuring of its operations within Novartis group. Some workers will be employed in the global operations centre, responsible for logistics, supply chain, purchasing, quality control, production science, technology and engineering. The global operations centre will have more locations across Lek’s local units. One of them will be in Prevalje, where the company plans comprehensive restructuring. For now, the company announced the shutdown of antibiotic production by late 2021; all other plans are still pending.
