Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The community platform specialised in the sale of DIY and gardening products and services, ManoMano, has announced the recruitment of around 200 employees to cope with its growth and expansion in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and UK. The positions sought are developers, data scientists and data engineers. ManoMano raised a further €125 million in funds. In total, the company has already raised €311 million in six years to ensure its development. The DIY platform has 420 employees in total, and expect to reach 620 by the end of 2020. A previous recruitment of 100 employees took place in 2019.
