Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The cruise company Costa Crociere announced the hiring of 320 workers to be employed in different activities on board, such as hospitality, excursions, animation, photography, pastry and cheese production. Two new ships, one just delivered and one set to start cruising next year are behind the job creation.
The first recruiting day will take place in Savona, on February 29, 2020 and will aim at recruiting the first 72 new employees. Further recruiting events will take place during the course of 2020.
Further 380 employment opportunities will take the form of training courses for hiring purposes, these courses will be funded by the European Social Fund.
