Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Sutherland Global Services Bulgaria, a subsidiary of the US-based business company Sutherland Global, will create 300 jobs in its new office in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Some 100 of the employees will be hired by the end of 2019 and the rest positions will be filled in by the end of 2020. The new employees will provide IT and customer support services for a big online store. The company promises salaries above the average for the industry.
The company started in Bulgaria 11 years ago and today has offices in Sofia, Varna and Burgas. Sutherland Global has 120 clients from Fortune 1000 and operation centres in 16 countries
