Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Kesko Senukai Lithuania, one of the largest retail chains for building and household supplies in Lithuania, is to create around 100 new jobs in Klaipeda in January 2020. The company will open a new store in Klaipeda that will occupy 11,000 square meters space. Currently Kesko Senukai Lithuania employs 3,378 employees.
Kesko Senukai is a group of companies which runs the largest retail chain of house building, home repairing and improvement stores in the Baltics. The group owes 85 stores in Lithuania, 16 stores in Latvia and Estonia, and 14 stores in Belorussia. Kesko Senukai Lithuania (previously named Senuku prekybos centras) was established in Lithuania in 1992.
