Description
German car supplier Bosch will relocate its manufacturing of steering systems from Bremen to Hungary, which will cut 240 manufacturing jobs in Germany. The development unit of the plant, which has approximately 30 employees, shall stay in Bremen.
The initial plans were announced in October 2019, but according to the management, the relocation will take place in 2020. In late November 2019 management told the press that the timeline of the closure and the modalities of the job cuts will be further negotiated with the works council.
