After the acquisition of the Swiss logistics company Panalpina Italia, the Danish logistics company DSV announced its intention to proceed to the closure of the company's Italian branch, Panalpina Italia, and dismiss 136 of its workers.
The majority of the involved workers are employed in Panalpina Italia's headquarted in Cerro Maggiore (93), but others are employed in the seats of Bologna (10), Firenze (11), Roma (10), and Vicenza (10).
The trade unions organised extraordinary workers assemblies and asked for the stop of overtime work. A strike has also been called and is planned on November 22.
