Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Technology services company Equiniti announced its plans to open EQ Tek, a new research and development centre, in Kraków. The business expansion is expected to create 150 new job positions in the roles of IT programmers as well as systems and UX specialists. The centre is planned to be responsible for the development of applications and product delivery systems.
Founded in 2007 in the UK, the company is a provider of technology, administration, processing and payments services, with a global workforce of over 5,000 employees. The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
