European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
E-commerce fashion company Venca announced a labour force adjustment plan to guarantee the economic viability of the company. The decision is expected to affect 68 employees. Trade union CC.OO. considers the number of dismissals disproportionate, claiming that the remaining employees will be overloaded with work. The company reinforces the intention to carry out the collective dismissal in the consultation period with trade unions.
