European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
DHL Parcel has opened a parcel sorting centre in Zaltbommel which employs around 350 people. DHL now employs around 7350 people in the Benelux in total. The centre will sort around half a million parcels a day and is the largest and most environmentally friendly centre in the Benelux. The growth of DHL, mostly due to the still rising popularity of online shopping, resulted in a need for capacity expansion and is a part of a multiyear, largescale investment plan.
in 2018, the company opened a centre in Zwolle creating 130 jobs.
