European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The privately owned contract laboratory Complete Laboratory Solutions (CLS) is going to create 100 new jobs in Galway, over the next two years. The company provides testing services to 600 pharmaceutical and medical technology companies. 78 of the new positions are part of CLS MedPharma and will be responsible for managing new projects around the country. The environmental department CLS Ros Muc will be also recruiting 18 environmental science graduates and food microbiologists. The remaining 4 positions will cover new appointments in marketing, sales and finance. The jobs expansion is being supported by Enterprise Ireland.
CLS was first established in Galway in 1994 and opened its second site in 2008. The company currently employs 200 people at its testing lab in County of Galway.
