De Persgroep Media, one of Belgium's main media conglomerates has announced plans to restructure its traditional broadcasting division with the loss of 145 jobs. At the same time 50 new vacancies have been announced but aimed more at newer online media channels. The restructuring is part of a larger effort of the group to modernise its catalogue of media products, including the launch of a large scale streaming media service.
