Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Keolis Lyon, a subsidiary of the public transport group Keolis has announced it will recruit 212 new employees by December 2020 for TCL, the public transport network of the city of Lyon. In addition, Keolis is recruiting 80 new employees from October to December 2019, after hiring 160 since 1 September. Keolis Lyon (2,680 employees) carries 1.7 million passengers per day. Keolis is continuing its development and the recruitments are made in response to retirements and ever-increasing ridership in the network, as well as the planned opening of new lines. The positions sought include operating positions and maintenance agents.
Two recruitments were previously announced, one in 2019 (100 job creations) and one in 2018 (500 job creations).
