Back-office company Standard Chartered Global Business Services announced the creation of 350 new job positions in its centre in Warsaw. The positions include specialists in the fields of IT, digital communication and supplier relationship management among others. In light of the business expansion, the company plans to move into a larger office in the third quarter of 2020.
The company started its operations in Warsaw in September 2018. The unit provides back-office services to the group's subsidiaries, including financial operations, technology services, cybersecurity services and banking operations. Headquartered in London, the group operates in more than 70 countries worldwide.
