Home appliance manufacturing company BSH Sprzęt Gospodarstwa Domowego opened its new production site in Łódź, which is expected to result in the creation of 1,500 new jobs. With an area of 57,000 square metres, the site represents the largest production facility for home appliances in Europe, as it is planned to produce 3 million appliances per year. It features state-of-the-art Industry 4.0 solutions that integrate human resources and digitally controlled machines with Internet and information technologies.
BSH Sprzęt Gospodarstwa Domowego started production in Poland in 1994 and it now operates six factories in the country.
