Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Electronics manufacturing company Intretech Hungary launched its new plant in Kapuvár. The site is planned to produce subassemblies and final assembly components for automotive and electronics industries among others. The highly digitalised and automatised production unit will operate through technologies deriving from Industry 4.0. The investment cost was nearly €29 million, around €4 million of which was contributed by the Hungarian government. The investment is expected to create 200 new job positions.
