Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Product engineering provider Cognizant Softvision announced the creation of 500 new positions in the role of creative technology specialists. The expansion is expected to involve the company's three centres in Bucharest, Iasi and Timisoara and to be completed by the end of 2019. The job creation is planned to meet the demand for digital development and transformation solutions used by leading financial services, insurance, retail and travel companies among others.
Cognizant Softvision has over 11,000 product, design and engineering specialists across a network of 30 studios in nine countries, spread over five continents. The company's global portfolio includes clients like Groupon, Macy's and Mozilla.
