Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
After recruiting around 400 people on the first Semester 2019, IT services company Umanis announced the recruitment of 600 people by the end of 2019. Umanis is a French publisher of data oriented business solutions. In addition, 100 of the 600 positions are to be filled by young graduates with less than 2 years' experience. In terms of geographical distribution, 390 jobs are based in Ile-de-France while 210 are open in all other regions of France (Lyon, Rennes, Nantes, Colmar, Metz, and other locations).
In addition to these new hires, 120 employees from the recently acquired companies, Océane Consulting Nord and Neonn, will be added to Umanis' workforce in 2019.
