The online booking group Booking.com has announced the recruitment of 100 employees at his call centre in Tourcoing by 2020. The centre would become the largest customer service site in Europe with 850 employees. Booking.com's location in the city of Tourcoing was threatened by the growth in the number of employees, as the site was becoming too small for the current 750 employees. The city of Tourcoing took initiatives to keep Booking.com on its territory by helping to set up a new site. The company recruits mainly young people who speak two languages, including English. The average age is about 30 years old and the staff is multicultural.
