Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Irish software company Poppulo is to create 125 new job vacancies in Cork over the next three years. The new jobs are advertised are in hi-tech engineering, R&D, sales and marketing positions. Poppulo currently employs 163 people in Cork and 37 people in Boston, USA. The company's clients include Unilever, Bank of America, Nestlé, Johnson Controls, Rolls-Royce and many major pharma companies. A few months ago, the US private equity firm Susquehanna Growth Equity invested €30 million in Poppulo. The expansion is supported by Enterprise Ireland.
