Description

Inalfa Roof Systems, a manufacturer of vehicle roof systems based in Venray, announced an internal restructuring as a remedy to recent loss-making years. Around 85 workers will be dismissed out of the 750 workers employed at the plant in Venray.

The internal restructuring is not a surprising move for Inalfa since the company is experiencing a large loss on an investment project in Poland and is suffering from declining car sales in China. In addition, Brexit and the trade dispute between US and China are also negatively impacting orders for suppliers involved in the global automotive industry supply chain.
