Description
The online payment service PayPal plans to cut 309 of 355 job vacancies at its site in Berlin due to internal restructuring. The number of cuts equals 87% of the site’s workforce. The works council was informed on 18 June 2019 and has started negotiations with PayPal management. The United Services Union is participating in these negotiations on the behalf of the employees. The goal is to save as many jobs as possible at the Berlin site. More information regarding the job reduction have yet to be published.
