Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Polish producer of meat and poultry products Wipasz has announced that it will create 800 jobs at its new poultry plant in Międzyrzec Podlaski, Poland. In total, even 1,200 jobs will be created at the site. The company has invested PLN 220 million (€51.42 million) in the plant. Wipasz is the biggest Polish producer of feed for poultry, pigs and cattle and a leader in the production of chicken meat. The company produces animal feed and meat products in 5 plants located in Mława and Międzyrzec Podlaski; in Mława, about 1,200 people are employed.
