Description
The France-based oil and gas company, Total, announced its intention to cut 200 jobs in Denmark as part of a redeployment of Tyra gas fields in the North Sea, assets that the French oil group inherited by buying the oil and gas division of Maersk in 2017. The company stated in a press release that it will initially dismiss up to 200 employees and several external consultants out of its 1,500 employees in Esbjerg. The redundancies will take place both offshore and on land.
