Le Coq Sportif is a French company making clothing, footwear and sporting equipment. Based on the decision of its main shareholder, i.e., the investment company Airesis, Le Coq Sportif has started to move its production activities from Vietnam back to France. With this movement, over 300 jobs has been created in the Grand Est region of France. Le Coq Sportif plans to further develop its shoes production in France through cooperation with the local shoes manufacturer Compagnie Vosgienne de la Chaussure. The first products made after the relocation are expected to be launched in 2018 and it will include rugby shoes made for the French national team.
