European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
PostNL, is opening a new parcel sorting centre in Tilburg by the end of this year and it will employ around 400 people. This centre is one of the three that is going to be opened this year, including one in Almere. PostNL is continuing its rapid expansion due to the growth of online shopping. The centre will deliver parcels in Waalwijk, Boxtel, Hilvarenbeek, Reusel and Tilburg. The centre does not use gas and works largely on solar panels. Local authorities welcomed the news about the opening of the centre.
