Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The online low-cost real estate agency Proprioo, created in December 2016, has announced a third round of funding of €20 million, which will enable it to recruit 200 employees within two years. Mostly present in Paris (half of its sales) and in the region Ile-de-France, Proprioo, which has 50 employees, has claimed 750 sales since its creation for more than €250 million. Proprioo aims to recruit, within two years, around 100 agents in Ile-de-France and another 100 in around 30 major cities in other regions, as Marseille, Lyon and Nice. The objective of Proprioo is to reach €1 billion in transactions by the end of 2020 and to become the market leader in real estate transactions in the 40 largest French cities.
