Ethics in the digital workplace

The German provider of rail-bound transport systems Vossloh will be cutting 200 jobs this year due to internal restructuring. The job reduction is part of a greater restructuring programme in order to increase the company's profitability sustainably. By the end of this year, Vossloh intends to cut 5% of its 3,800 jobs, but expects positive effects to first take place in 2020. A Vossloh spokesperson informed employees that the job reduction will be as socially acceptable as possible. The exact distribution and location of cuts have yet to be announced.
