N26, a provider of online financial services and banking, with headquarters in Berlin (Germany), will open a technology centre in Vienna in autumn 2019 creating 100 jobs. The company is already looking for software engineers. In the long-run the company wants to employ 300 people at its site in Vienna and is hoping to attract not only skilled workers from Austria, but also from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Apart from Berlin and Vienna, N26 also operates in Barcelona and New York with overall 1,000 employees, it has 2.5 million customers.
