Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The US multinational transportation and logistics company C.H. Robinson has announced that it will create over 100 jobs at its unit in Warsaw by the end of 2020. The company is looking for IT specialists, including software engineers, IT business analysts, database administrators, IT managers or quality assurance analysts. The restructuring programme is to support C.H. Robinson’s operations in Europe. New employees will work on a global transportation managements system (TMS).
C.H. Robinson is one of the world’s largest transportation and logistics company as it delivers its services to more than 124,000 customers across the world and has 14,125 employees.
