The German automotive supplier Mann+Hummel will be cutting up to 300 jobs in Germany due to internal restructuring in 2019. The job reduction is part of a worldwide restructuring programme with the goal to save €60 million in order to be competitive in the long-term. This will include the loss of 1,200 jobs worldwide. According to the management, production is not affected. Management and works council have just started negotiations on a social plan and are confident to find a solution soon.
