Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Scalian group has announced the recruitment of 150 engineers and technicians at its two sites in the metropolitan area of Bordeaux, in Bruges and Haillan, where 280 people already work. The objective is to support the group's digital growth. Recruitment targets junior and experienced developers, but also technical project managers, consultants, system and network administrators, network and telecom technicians, cybersecurity engineers, data engineers, data scientists.
The Scalian group employs 2,600 people in 7 countries and reached a turnover of €220 million in 2018. Scalian has recruited 100 employees in 2018 in the Bordeaux metropolitan area. A previous recruitment at national level was recorded in 2017 (820 job creations).
