Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Altitude Infrastructure, a company specialised in the design, construction and operation of telecommunications networks, has announced the recruitment of 100 employees in the coming months.The company announces a turnover of €180 million in 2018, and should reach € 350 million by 2019. The operator benefits from the commitments made by local authorities to develop very high-speed Internet access everywhere in their territories. The latest one is the contract signed with the department of Tarn-et-Garonne, for a 30-year public service delegation and the commitment to deploy optical fibre throughout the department by 2022. This new contract is valued at €250 million in investments, including €130 million for the actual deployment site.
