Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Kuehne + Nagel logistics is going to increase its workforce at this site in Belleville from the current 120 employees to 500 by 2020. The 70,000 square metres sites will be used as a distribution centre by the Dutch retail group Action.
The Action group is growing rapidly in France, at a rate of nearly 80 new stores per year. Six years after its entry in the French market, which has become its first market, it now has 441 stores. Action is present in seven European countries and employs 45,000 people with a turnover of €3.4 billion.
