Peel Ports has announced plans to create 200 jobs at the Port of Liverpool. The jobs are being driven by high levels of growth, particularly in the container division. The jobs are expected to be added throughout 2019. Positions which are reported to be available include crane and truck drivers as well as data analysts.
The latest announcement continues the strong performance for the business. In 2018, 145 staff joined the company and over 300 transferred from being agency workers to become employees. A previous restructuring took place in 2015, when 500 jobs were created.
