Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
EJ Picardie, a company specialised in cast iron plates for underground networks (sanitation, telecommunications), has announced the recruitment of 100 employees for its site in Saint-Crépin-Ibouvillers (Oise). EJ Picardie wants to launch an additional weekend team next June to support the growth of its business. To do this, it plans to recruit more than 100 people, including managers, production agents, forklift drivers and maintenance technicians. The company employs 800 people in France, including 700 at this site. It created 50 jobs in 2018.
