Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Cryostar group, which is specialised in the production of state-of-the-art cryogenic equipment, plans to hire around 100 employees in 2019. The group is developing new opportunities in anticipation of the energy market shifts, including liquefied natural gas for road transport and deep geothermal equipment. The group currently employs 660 people, including 555 in Hésingue (Haut-Rhin) for a turnover of more than €300 million. Cryostar has another site in France, in Aveyron (25 employees), focused on vehicles running on liquefied natural gas (LNG).
