Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Scalian, a company specialised in consulting and engineering, has announced the recruitment of 205 employees for its Sophia Antipolis-Valbonne (Alpes-Maritime) and Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône) sites. Scalian, which has 400 employees in the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur region, wants to recruit 105 consultants and engineers in Sophia Antipolis-Valbonne and 100 in Marseille.
new hires will work in the Operations Performance and Digital Systems divisions. The two regional agencies work for EDF, Thales, Airbus, Alstom, Air France and Orange, Amadeus and Naval Group. Scalian employs 2,600 people in its 8 branches in France and 6 offices abroad, and achieved a turnover of €200 million in 2018.
