Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The call centre Ceacom has announced the creation of around 100 new jobs in 2019. After 80 permanent recruitments in 2018, Ceacom, based in Le Havre (Seine-Maritime), intends to continue its development in 2019 and has launched a new recruitment campaign. Contracts offered are on a permanent basis. By the end of the year, Ceacom's workforce should therefore increase from 500 to just over 600 employees. Recruitment, which begins this February, is expected to continue until next September.
In 2018, Ceacom obtained the 'Great place to work' label, which rewards the well-being of employees in companies. In 2019, the company is launching an innovative program around health. Coaches will come to the company to support employees in the fight against physical inactivity, malnutrition and tobacco addiction.
