Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Sopra Steria, the technology consulting and digital transformation multinational company, plans to incorporate nearly 1,700 new employees into its workforce to guarantee its growth objectives in the country. This announcement comes after the hiring of 1,400 employees in 2018 for the ten work centres of the firm in Spain. Around 80% of the new employees in 2018 were young graduates, mainly computer engineers. According to the company, Sopra Steria implements talent management policy, focusing on personalised career development and lifelong training.
