McDonalds, the multinational fast-food restaurant chain, has announced the creation of 500 new jobs as part of a €20 million investment in digital self-ordering kiosks in the company’s restaurants across Finland in the coming two years. The recruitments will take place during spring 2019.
As of February 2019, McDonalds has 65 restaurants in Finland, employing some 2,800 persons in total. Most of the restaurants are run on a franchise basis by entrepreneurs. The investments in self-ordering kiosks and table service are expected to increase sales.
