Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The car manufacturer PSA Peugeot-Citroën has announced the recruitment of 1,600 employees for 2019 in its distribution subsidiary PSA Retail, including 800 job creations in France. PSA Retail must 'meet the ambitious objectives it has set itself as part of its medium-term plan'. The new positions will mainly be permanent contracts and mainly concern salesmen of new and used vehicles, customer service advisers, mechanics, body painters and automotive diagnostic technicians. All new employees will be offered qualifying training by the PSA Retail Academy, which will enable them to acquire or strengthen the know-how essential to the exercise of their profession.
PSA Retail employs 10,100 people worldwide including 5,000 in France.
