Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Actia Automotive has announced the recruitment of 40 people on permanent contracts and 20 under work-study contracts in 2019 in the Occitania region, mainly in Toulouse and Colomiers. Actia is specialised in the design, manufacture and operation of electronics for system management in the fields of transport, aeronautics, telecommunications networks and energy. It employs 3,500 people world-wide, including 650 in Toulouse and Colomiers. Actia is looking for about thirty operators and technicians in Colomiers, about ten positions in support functions (Purchasing, HR, Quality, and so on), about ten positions in sales functions (Customer Account Managers, Sales Managers, Sales Assistants); engineers; and project managers at the head office in Toulouse.
