Description
The call centre company Duacom, in Douai (Nord), has announced the hiring of 218 customer advisors by September; 82% will be on permanent contract. The site bounced back after the announcement of the termination of the contract with the telecommunications company SFR-Numéricable in 2016. Since the loss of this contract, which reduced the workforce from 450 to 250 employees, this subsidiary of the German Bertelsmann group has also renovated its premises 'to meet the requirements of potential new customers and to ensure the well-being of employees', according to the site manager. With the arrival of new customers, the site will be at full capacity by September 2019 at the latest, with a workforce increased to more than 400 employees.
