Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
American engineering company CH2M has announced that it will create 200 new jobs at its Global Design Centre in Kraków, Poland. The company plans to launch architecture and engineering services, investing PLN 40 million (€9.23 million) in the Kraków Technology Park (KPT) and benefiting from public support.
CH2M provides consulting, design, construction and operation services for corporations, state and local governments. It specialises in industrial, waste water management, transport infrastructure, energy and environmental engineering projects. The company employs 20,000 people worldwide. A previous business expansion took place in 2016 (800 new jobs).
