Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
German producer of automotive accessories Hengst Automotive has announced plans to create 100 jobs at its new production facility in Kąty near Rawicz, Poland. The factory is expected to be operational in the third quarter of 2019. Eventually, the site will employ about 300 people.
Hengst Automotive specialises in the production of fluid management systems, crankcase ventilation systems as well as filter systems for oil, fuel and cabin air filtration. As of February 2019, the company operates factories in Germany, Brazil, China, India, Singapore and the USA.
Previous restructuring took place in 2017, when 130 jobs were created.
