Shropshire based plant hire company Hawk Group has entered administration, resulting in immediate job losses. Although the business had been operating for over 40 years and was one of the country's largest independent plant hire companies, ongoing problems with certain contracts and delays in beginning new contracts, mean that the administrator for the group has cut 83 jobs from the overall headcount of approximately 400. The future of the remaining jobs remains unclear, with administrator EY seeking a buyer for the business.
