Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The train transport company Italo will be hiring 150 employees in 2019-2020.
The new employees will be hired as hostesses and stewards, and as train operators and will complement the company's staff in the management of new trains and new cities in the company's network.
Successful candidates will be hired through an apprenticeship contract in the positions of stewards and hostesses; and for the positions of train operators open-ended contracts will be offered after a 5 months training period. Roma, Napoli, Milano and Venezia will be the locations where the new employees will be based.
Currently, Italo employs around 1,250 workers.
