Description
British financial institution London Stock Exchange has announced plans to create 300 new positions at its IT service centre in Bucharest. The centre, which was inaugurated in February 2019, was initially expected to employ 200 people. The company develops and manages high-performance, transactional, market surveillance and post-trading systems for 42 organisations. British Foreign Secretary welcomed the move and described the centre as ‘a pawn for economic relations between Romania and the UK’.
Worldwide, London Stock Exchange Group, headquartered in London, employs about 6,800 people.
